Softball Drops Season Opener to Livingston
The Red Boiling Springs Softball team opened theirseason on Tuesday, March 15th as they traveled to Livingston Academy. The Lady Bulldogs came out swinging a hot bat as they pushed two runs across the plate in the top of the first inning to take an early lead 2-0.
The Lady Wildcats quickly answered back, scoring six runs in the bottom of the first to take the lead 6-2. The second inning went by with nobody scoring, but the Lady Bulldogs got back on track in the third scoring three runs thanks in large part to a bases loaded triple by Courtney Hix to pull within one at 6-5.
