Funeral services were held Saturday, March 26, 2005, 1 p.m. at New Hope Church in Westmoreland conducted by Pastor Jeff Brooks, Bro. Al Sherrod and Dr. Clinton L. Branine. Interment was in New Hope Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Coley, Anthony Coley, Don Wilkerson and Rich Roth; active pallbearers were Frank Coley, Rex Troutt, Max Sherrell, Ike Flanagan, Stan Raines, Ken Lassiter, Ricky Coley and Jerry Coley.
He was the son of the late Edward Bargo and Etta Garland. He was married to Barbara Coley Bargo of Sevierville, who survives. He was retired from Herff Jones Company in Indianapolis after 40 years of service and was a member of First Baptist Church in Pigeon Forge, TN.
He is survived by a grandson, Derrick Kenneth Howard, Speedwell, TN; daughter, Denise Ann (Donnie) Howard, Speedwell; three brothers, Bill Bargo of Gatlinburg, Sam Bargo and Dan Bargo, both of Anderson, IN; sisters, Judy Bargo & Diane Lloyd, Anderson, IN, Dee Campbell, Indianapolis, IN, Betty Gilbert, St. Petersburg, FL; one grandchild.
Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home in Westmoreland was in charge of arrangements.
