Funeral services for Clyde LaGrand, Jr., age 55, of Lafayette, were conducted Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Bro. Edd Carter and Bro. Joe Herrington officiating. Pallbearers were Ronnie LaGrand, Karl Phillips, Jr., Chris Johnson, Paul Strack, Danny Kuhns, Eddie Carter, Richard Carter, and Floyd Brooks, Jr. Interment followed in the Gamaliel Cemetery.

Clyde LaGrand, Jr. passed away Friday, March 25, 2005 in Port St. Lucie, FL.

A native of Hoopston County, Illinois, he was the son of the late Clyde and Easter Brooks LaGrand. He married the former Judy Ford who survives. He was preceded in death by daughters Candice and Jamie LaGrand, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

He was disabled.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Ford LaGrand, Lafayette; step-daughter Kristi (Randy) Martin, Westmoreland; step-sons Roy (Gina) Evans, Jr., Red Boiling Springs, Bryan (Lee Ann) Evans, Lafayette; sisters Carolyn (Kelly) Handy, Chrisman, IL, Betty (Rick) Perry, Redmon, IL, Anita (Karl) Phillips, Paris, IL, Tracey (Larry) Jacquneaux, Barbara (Amy) LaGrand, all of Champagne, IL; brothers, James (Geneva) LaGrand, Effingham, IL, Charles (Joan) LaGrand, Ridgefarm, IL, Ronnie LaGrand, George LaGrand, both of Paris, IL; two granddaughters and two grandsons.
