The Macon County Jr. High varsity softball team lost to Mt. Juliet Lady Bears 8-7 on Monday April 18. It was the best game they have played this year. It was heartbreaking. However, the JV won 9-6. The varsity then played the Trousdale Co. Yellow Jackets in a make-up game on Wednesday April 20. The Tigerettes won 9-3. There was no JV game that day. Then on Friday April 22 the teams traveled to Franklin Simpson Ky, and got in three innings before being rained out. Macon County won 4-0. JV got rained out. This week winds up the season for both team. Games slated for this week include Davidson Academy , April 25 @4:30, Celina on Tuesday, April 26 @ 4:00. Then traveling to Baxter for a make up game on Wednesday April 27 @ 5:00. The last game will be played at home on Thursday April 28 against Friendship Christain. This game is going to be played at the MCPRA field behind Central. MCJHS record is now 8-3 and the JV remains undefeated at 7-0.
