Funeral services for Pauline Gregory Halsell, age 85, of Lebanon and formerly of Red Boiling Springs, TN were conducted Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Elder Floyd Ferguson officiating. Interment followed in the Smith Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers were Greg Biles, John Weaver, John Zaleswki, Larry Gregory, Jerry Gregory and Chris Palk.

Mrs. Halsell passed away Saturday evening, January 14, 2006 at the University Medical Center in Lebanon, TN.

She was born on June 27, 1920 in Macon County, TN, the daughter of the late William M. and Cora Bell Vaughn Gregory. On January 14, 1942, she was married to Nemo Halsell, who preceded her in death on February 15, 1996. Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Smith and brothers, Vesper, Garvin and William Gregory. She was a homemaker and a member of the Smith Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include daughter: Freda (Maynard) Pate, Lebanon, TN; son: Fred (Martha) Halsell, Sneads Ferry, NC; sisters: Ruth Kidd, Richmond, KY, Bessie (Elder Floyd) Ferguson, Red Boiling Springs, TN; brother: Jessie T. (Jannie) Gregory, Red Boiling Springs, TN; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
