John Leslie Gass was born in Clay County, Tennessee March 12, 1944 to Vester and Edna Pennington Gass.
He was preceded in death by his wife Wilma Joyce Gass and his parents.
Survivors include Dewayne Gass and daughter-in-law Donna of Fountain Run, two granddaughters Chelsea Gass and Mikayla Gass and two step grandchildren Randy Green and Laura Pulley.
He was a retired Osh Gosh factory worker.
The funeral was held at the Hughes Chapel May 4, at 11 a.m. with brother Jeremy Yokley and Brother Danny Patrick officiating. Interment was in the Neal Cemetery.
