Ricky Dale Trent, better known as “Bullhead”, age 49, of Lafayette, passed away Tuesday morning, October 24, 2006 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Funeral service was conducted Sunday, October 29, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel at the Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Jerry Swindle officiating. Shawn Trent, Doug Matthews, Gary Caruthers, Joey Smith, Larry Joe Gregory and Eddie Taylor served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Roark Cemetery.

Ricky Trent was born Thursday, July 18, 1957, in Macon County, TN, the son of the late Vestel D. and Lillie Mae Bergdorf Trent. Besides his parents, a sister, Debra Hawkins and brother, Jerry Trent preceded him in death. He loved and enjoyed his grandchildren and also enjoyed fishing and riding horses. He worked in construction and was of the Missionary Baptist belief.

He is survived by, daughter, Misty Lanette Goolsby; son, Shaun Alvin Trent; companion, Evelyn Wooten; brothers, Carl Lee, George, Charlie, Gary & Terry Lee Trent all of Lafayette, TN; sisters, Helen Mae Bush, Mt. Juliet, TN, Polly Ann Woodard, Carthage, TN; grandchildren, Raegan Trent & Matteson Goolsby, Sydney & Garian Trent.
