The living persons honored included three women and three men: Corrine Whitley Mayo, Pat York Crossland, Frances Dycus Hudson; Roger Russell, Prentice Smith and Collier Hawkins. Inducted posthumously into the RBSHS Hall of Fame were the late Doris Kriby Jenkins and the late Jack Driver.
A special ceremony honoring the RBS 1947 Basketball Team was also held during the intermission between games.
