Leatrice Joy King, age 77, of the Rocky Mound Community of Macon County, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at her residence.  Funeral services for Mrs. King were conducted on Monday, February 19, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. from Alexander Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Marty Meador officiating. Family and Friends served as Pallbearers.  Interment was in the Cold Springs Cemetery in Macon County.

Leatrice King was born on March 18, 1929, in Macon County, Tennessee, to the late Earl and Emely Davis Roark. She was married to Earl Davis King, who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, brothers, William Glespie and Homer Roark preceded her in death. Mrs. King worked at the Blouse factory in Westmoreland for over 18 years.  

She is survived by sister, Mary E. Ramirez, special friend, Virginia Spears and family, and several nieces and nephews, of the Rocky Mound Community.
