Mrs. Carmen Ora (Burnette) Parsons Cook, 83, of Celina, TN. passed away Wednesday, September 19th, 2007 at her residence.

Mrs. Cook was born in Boles, Kentucky on August 26, 1924, the daughter of the late Carroll Estil and Blanche (Ritter) Burnette.

She worked as a Clerk for the government and was a Member of the Celina Church of Christ

She is survived by daughter: Mary Jane Miller of Moss, TN; son: William (Bill) H. Parsons, Jr. of Celina, TN. Grandchildren: James Wilson Parsons, Robert Hull Parsons, Amanda Cloudyne (Parsons) Jones, Sara Elizabeth (miller) Martinez, and Nathan David Miller; 11 Great Grandchildren; brother: Ernest Burnette of Atlanta, GA.

She was preceded in death by: parents and husband: Bill Hull Parsons of 50 years and husband: Will Vester Cook of 9 years, brothers: James Wilson Burnette and Corky Burnette, and sister: Mary Addie Hinson.

Funeral Service at Hall Funeral Home, LLC, Celina, TN, at 10 AM on Friday, September 21st, with Bill Threet and Dennis Miller officiating. Graveside: Nathan Miller and Teddy Jones Officiating. Pallbearers were: Butch Burnette, Billy Burnette, Stan Burnette, John Burnette, Rocky Thurman, Robert Thurman

Interment at Fitzgerald Cemetery, TN.
