Funeral services for Willard Gregory were conducted Thursday afternoon, January 31, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Elder Billy Joe Shoulders officiating. Interment followed in the Will Gregory Cemetery. His pallbearers were Jon Hesson, Jason Gregory, Josh Gregory, Steven Gregory, Dominic Buono, Jr., Cody Miller and Shane Hesson.

Willard Gregory passed away Tuesday morning, January 29, 2008 at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, TN.

He was born September 13, 1919 in Smith County, Tennessee, the son of the late Willie Newton and Otty Buck Gregory. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Willie Gregory, son-in-law, Harold Gammons, sisters, Graddie Dickens and Lizzie Howell, brothers, Elston, Stanton, Thurman and George Allen Gregory. He was a Mechanic for the State of Tennessee with 10 years of service and a member of the Sycamore Valley Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include: daughters & son-in-law; Geneva & Dudley Hesson, Lafayette, TN; daughter, Ruth Gammons, Hender-sonville, TN; sons & daughters-in-law; Randel & Beverly Gregory, Red Boiling Springs, TN, Dean & Debbie Gregory, Indianapolis, IN, Stanley & Judy Gregory, Lafayette, TN; granddaughters and their husbands, Dena & Rick Hoffmann, Christy & Dominic Buono; grandsons & their wives; Jon & Deneshia Hesson, Chris & Carie Gammons; grandsons, Jason Gregory, Scotty Gregory, Josh Gregory, Steven Gregory, great-grandsons; Cody Miller and Shane Hesson.
