Mr. Bobby Lee Frye, age 70, of Franklin, KY, died Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 1:03 a.m. at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements were under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services were held Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery.

A native of Franklin, KY, he was the son of the late Lee Vernon Frye and the late Cathleen Carver Frye. He was preceded in death by 3 sons, Steve, Robert, and Danny Lee Frye, a grandson, Nathan Robertson, and a great-granddaughter, Autumn Fae Benshoff.

He is survived by a daughter, Sandy K. Robertson and her husband, Mike of Mason City, IL; 6 grandchildren, Nicole and Tyler Robertson, Betty Jo Benshoff, Steve Frye, Jr., Amy Frye and Ryan Frye; and 3 great-grandchildren, Trey and Summer Benshoff and Adyan Frye.

Mr. Frye was retired from Caterpillar in Mableton, IL and was a member of American Legion Post #62 and the VFW Post # 5706.
