Junior High Cross Country Conditioning
at the MCHS Course. Conditioning dates are set for July 24th, and 25th at 5:30 p.m. If the weather gets extremely hot, listen to 102.1 F.M. to see if the time has been moved back to 7:00. If you are on the Junior High Soccer team, come to the course when you are finished with soccer practice. Practice will begin on Monday, July 28 at 5:30 p.m. Practice dates include July 29, July 31, August 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th. The time for these is also 5:30 p.m. unless otherwise notified. After school practice will begin on August 8th at 3:00 p.m.
Macon County Saddle Club
Macon County Saddle Club holds a club ride each Saturday night at 7:00 PM at the Macon County Fairgrounds unless otherwise scheduled. Everyone Welcome. For more information call Jeff Ashworth at 666-8068.
Fall Soccer League needs bids for pictures
It's Fall soccer season and the Macon County Soccer League is accepting bids for Fall pictures. Bids must be submitted and postmarked by August 2, 2008 and sent to
Macon County Soccer League, P.O. Box 775,
Lafayette TN 37083. Each year the league offers two packages. Package A should include but not limited to 1-8x10 team picture, 2-5x7 individuals, and 8 wallets. Package B should include but not limited to 1-8x10 team picture. Please include the price of each package. Bids must also include the % of return to the league (% of return should be defined as gross sales or gross profit). Candidate chosen by the league will be responsible for scheduling and delivering pictures to each team or individual. Candidate will also be required to submit team pictures to both local newspapers.
MCHS Volleyball Team selling cookie dough
The MCHS Volleyball Team will begin selling Cookie Dough from July 17th to the 31st. Ask any player for information or call Coach Bowers at 666-4156.
Macon County Hunter Ed Course Aug. 18, 19, 21 & 22
Macon County Hunter Education class will be held Aug. 18, 19, 21 & 22 with a live fire on the 23rd at Macon County Jr. High School Auditorium, Hwy. 52 By-Pass E., from 6:00-9:00 nightly. Bring Social Security number for registration. Must attend all classes and live fire to be certified. Time of live fire will be announced during class. For more info call 688-9020.
