Funeral services for Oves G. White, age 91, were conducted on Friday December 19, 2008 in the Chapel of Upton Funeral Home with Dennis Miller officiating. Mr. Oves G. White passed away tuesday, December 16, 2008 at the McKenzie Regional Hospital in McKenzie, Tennessee.

He was born September 25, 1917 in Moss, Tennessee to the late Irvin and Roxie (Ethridge) White. He was a retired General Store owner and was affiliated with the Church of Christ.

Serving as pallbearers were Tim White, Floyd White, Lanny White, Aaron White Jr., Chris White, and John White.

Mr. Oves George White was preceded in death by his wife, Verda (McLerran) White; brothers, Oscar and Bedford White; sisters, Sallie Odle and Robbie White. Survivors include: Special Nephew, Tim White of Moss, TN, and several nieces & nephews.
