Lester Gass, age 76 of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Friday afternoon, March 30, 2012 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville, Ky. Funeral Services for Lester Gass were conducted Monday afternoon, April 2, 2012, at 1 p.m. from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Red Boiling Springs with Bro. Billy Traughber officiating. Interment followed in the Whitley Cemetery. His family and friends served as pallbearers.
Lester was born Sunday December 15, 1935 in Macon County, TN, the son of the late Alfred and Gracie Slate Gass. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Ella Isenberg and brother, Dewey Ray Gass. He was a sawmill worker for the former J.B. Cassetty Lumber Company in Red Boiling Springs and a member of the Bethel Family Worship Center in Lafayette.
Survivors include: several cousins, nieces and nephews.
