Mrs. Launa Gaye (Buford) Stone, 79, of the Arcot Community in Celina, TN. passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Mrs. Launa Gaye Buford was born on April 29, 1932 in Willow Grove Community to the late Clarence and Nannie (Clark) Buford. She was married to Henry Boyd Stone and was an employee of Farm Bureau Insurance for 33 years. Also, She was a member of the Arcot Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by two brothers, John T. Buford and Clark Buford and one sister, Katherine Buford.

She is survived by one brother, Edward Buford of Celina, TN.

Four sisters: Isabel Garrett of Allons, TN., Lavelle Buford of Cordele, GA., Wynell Roylston of Smyrna, GA., and Billie Stone of Celina, TN.

Mrs. Stone is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews, as well as several great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Celina, TN. with burial in the Stone Cemetery with Bro. Roger Anderson officiating.
