Leadership Macon went to the State Capitol on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. They were welcomed by State Rep. Terri Lynn Weaver, Senator Mae Beavers, Secretary of State Tre Hargett, Comptroller Justin Wilson, State Rep. Kelly Keisling and Macon County native Carol Coley McDonald. During their fun filled day, they learned about many aspects of government. The group was even recognized on both the House and Senate Floors. That was a great feeling. This is just one of many great learning sessions that the group experiences during the program. Thank you all that made the trip possible!
