The Red Boiling Springs Lions Club donated 4 Dogwood trees to the City of Red Boiling Springs and they were planted on May 1st in Bilbrey Park by representative of the RBS city council, Mr. George McCrary and Lions Club members Carol Little, Delila Marshall, Dan Cohen and wife Glenda Cohen. Ms. Cohen stated that the Lafayette Monument Company was also to donate a plaque commemorating the tree donation which will be placed in the center spot among the trees.
The public is invited to contact the Lions Club if you know of people needing such items as hearing aids or eyeglasses. Ms. Cohen can be reached at 615-699-3500.
