Last Friday, the Macon County tennis league played their first regular season matches.
In the 5-7-year-old group, Jayden Warner, Colin Cothron, Laurel Bray, Ely Malo, and Ella Flynn all won their matches. Playing well in competition were Kason Clayborne, Isaac Kirby, Claire Jared and Sahra Chandler.
In the 8-10-year-old division, Josh Bray, Alexis Stewart, Emily Billenstein, Syanne Alred, and Aiden Flynn all won their matches. Playing well were Skyler Clark, Blake Miller, Alexis Stewart, and Todd Chandler.
Int he 11-14 division, Dylan Swindle d. Scott Coster 8/0, Joey Roberts d. Jacob Sewell 8/4, Trevor Swindle d. Mason Warfield 8/2, John Stafford d. Scott Costner 8/2, Darian McDonald d. Austin Smith 8/0, Brooklyn Driver d. Mahaley Tuck 8/3, Jessica Law d. Kaitlyn Goheen 8/2, Mary Chunn d. Elizabeth Alred 8/0, Bailey Howell d. Brooklyn Driver 8/6, Jessica Law d. Adrianna Cliburn 8/3, Casey Martin d. Angel Austin 8/1, Bailey Howell d. McCayla McClard 8/4.
The results in the high school and up division are as follows: William Ilia d. John Griffith 8/3, Brandy Green d. Macy Riddle 8/0, Kellie Dizon d. Elizabeth Hartley 8/5, John Griffith d. Jacob Harbin 8/0, William Ilia d. Dalton McCathran 8/1, Macy Riddle d. Elizabeth Hartley 8/6, Courtney Hull d. Rosselle Dorrio 8/5, and Macy Riddle d. Hannah Bray 8/4. New matches will be scheduled for this Friday night.
