The United Women of Macon County are pleased to announce this year’s recipients of hte Lynda Belton Memorial Scholarship. The following Macon County students each received a $500.00 scholarship and were recognized during Awards Night at Macon County High School.
Sarah Shrum
Sarah is the daughter of Dwayne and Carol Shrum. She is planning to attend University of Tennessee in the fall and plans to major in pre-medicine.
Hillary Morrison
Hillary is the daughter of Boyd and Wendy Morrison. Hillary has selected the University of Tennessee as her college. THis fall she will be majoring in psychology.
Sabrina Drown
Sabrina is the daughter of Troy and Brenda Drown. Western Kentucky is the college she plans to attend. This fall she will be majoring in the pre-medicine program.
The proceeds for the scholarships were funded from our annual Christmas Tour of Homes. The United Women of Macon County would like to congratulate all of this year’s recipients and wish them the best of luck in their futures.
