The MCHS Golf Team participated in the Regional Tournament on 10/1/12 held at Montgomery Bell State Park Golf Course in Dickson, TN. In inclement weather the Boys and Girls golf teams won!
MCHS Boys participated against 6 teams consisting of 40 players. First Place Macon County with 301; Lipscomb Academy 311; CPA 327; Houston County 331; Goodpasture 343; and Stewart County 360.
MCHS Boys individuals were Zach Polston 74; Larken Whittemore 74; Austin Williams 75; Ian Whittemore 78; Trey Reid 83.
MCHS Girls participated against 6 teams consisting of 25 players. First Place Macon County with 165; Clarksville Academy 172; Montgomery Central 178; Hume Fogg 195; CPA 207; and Goodpasture 209.
MCHS Girls individuals were Lauren Gammons 82; Kaitlin Cartwright 83; and Kaleigh Chitwood 90.
Now the MCHS Golf Teams move on the the TSSAA State Championship to be held on 10/9-10 at Willowbrook Golf Course in Manchester, TN.
