Dear Editor,

The VFW Post 7135, American Legion Post 117, and I want to say Thank You!!! We want to thank everyone for their outstanding support of the veterans and different activities surrounding Veterans Day. We are blessed to have a community that puts forth the effort to honor its military and veterans the way they do. There were Veterans Breakfasts, Appreciation Programs, a parade, and also ceremonies at various sites around the county. We would like to thank each and every person, organization, or business who had anything to do with these events. We would also like to highlight the efforts of the Lafayette National Guard Armory, Wal-Mart, and NCTC for their support of the parade and celebration at Key Park. This event would not happen without their help. Additionally, we would also like to thank the Macon County Times, NCTC, and Lafayette Broadcasting for all the help in getting the word out about all the different activities.

There were so many individuals that made all of these things happen and whatever part you played no matter how great or small we want you to know that we appreciate it and that your efforts did not go unnoticed. May God Bless You and God Bless America!
