Pennies for Patients is a national program to raise money for Leukemia and other childhood cancer research, education, and patient services. According to our records, this year’s total count of $2314.41 is the most money ever raised for this community service activity in our school

Red Boiling Springs FCCLA sponsored the Pennies for Patients by having contests between RBS Elementary classrooms and junior high and high school. Winning in the elementary category was Ms. Cowan’s classroom with $185.35, second place Ms. Bartley’s class with $180.35 and Mrs. Patch’s class in third with $125.04. In the junior high and high school contest, the winner was Mr. Butler’s Spanish class with over $310.00, in second place with $115.74 was Ms. Dodson’s sixth-grade class, and third place was Ms. Powell’s freshman class with $87.30.
