The Palace Care and Rehab in Red Boiling Springs welcomed a new member to their family on December 5th, 2012, when Rebecca Tandy was installed as the new Executive Director.

Ms. Tandy was formerly the Facility Director at the Glasgow State Nursing Facility in Glasgow, KY. She achieved her BS in Health Care Administration at Western KY, followed by a 12-week internship, during which she found that she loves long-term health care. Rebecca received her administrator’s license in 1996 and just this year received her Masters of Science degree at Austin Peay University.

She has had the opportunity to work in various settings including public health and skilled nursing facilities. At her most recent position she led her team to a deficiency free survey and financial stability.

Tandy says she is excited to be at the Palace. “It’s a very home like environment,” said Tandy. “When you come in it’s very open and residents seem happy.”

She and husband Steven have one son, Bryant. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
