On December 17th, the Red Boiling Springs Jr. High Lady Bulldogs did battle against the Westmoreland Jr. High Lady Eagles. Red Boiling would come up a little short, losing this game 27-21. A rough fourth quarter and turnovers would doom the Lady Bulldogs.

The first half was quiet for both teams. The Lady Eagles led the game after the first quarter 4-3. In the second quarter, RBS JH came out and scored 6 while holding Westmoreland to only 2 points. The score was 9-6 Lady Bulldogs.

The second half was when the game got out of hand for Red Boiling. Westmoreland would score 8 points in the third quarter, while Red Boiling would only score 4. The score after the third quarter was Westmoreland leading 14-13. The fourth quarter was simply Westmoreland’s quarter. Westmoreland scored 13 points in the fourth quarter. Alot of those points came off of turnovers from the Lady Bulldogs. Red Boiling played a great game, but they just couldn’t catch up to Westmoreland as they lost this game 27-21.

Caylie Green led Red Boiling in scoring with 6 points. Green also had 5 rebounds and a steal. Shaylee Ellingson had 5 points and a steal. Bailey Morgan had 4 points (all of these points came off of free throws) and 4 steals.
