After the girls fell to Westmoreland, the Red Boiling Springs Jr. High Bulldogs went to avenge the girls’ loss. They easily avenged it. The Bulldogs stomped the Eagles 48-15. Fantastic gameplay led the Bulldogs to an easy win.

The first quarter began the beating. Red Boiling went on a 16-2 run throughout the entire first quarter. The second quarter continued the run. Red Boiling scored 13 points in the second quarter, while they held Westmoreland to only 7 points. The score at the half was 29-9.

The third quarter was all Red Boiling, literally. The Bulldogs held the Eagles to 0 points while the Bulldogs went and put up 17 points. The score after three quarters was 46-9. Everyone knew that Red Boiling was easily going to dominate this game. In the fourth quarter, Westmoreland put up 6 points while Red Boiling emptied their bench and scored only 2 points, but Westmoreland could have scored 20 points. It wouldn’t matter. Red Boiling won the game 48-15.

Long led the team in scoring with an incredible 16 points. Long shot 7-15 shooting altogether. Long also knocked down 2 three pointers, picked up a steal, and snagged two rebounds. Elijah Byfield also had an incredible game. He shot 4-10 shooitng, grabbed a rebound, had an assist, and picked 6 pockets! Six steals in any game is incredible!
