Vision 2020 is pleased to announce the winners of the 2013 Red Boiling Springs Holiday Decorating Contests. The Winner of the Residential Lighting Contest was the home of Kent and Wanda Smith on Bennett Hill. The Smiths received a $100 check made possible through donations from Citizens Bank and Macon Bank and Trust.

The winner of the People’s Choice Decorating Contest was The Palace Care and Rehab. The Palace received advertising packages from NCTC and WLCT. Voters noted that the Christmas decorations brought the smiles out in the residents. Second place went to Red Boiling Springs Florist and third went to The American Pie Pizzeria. The People’s Choice Award is determined by the number of votes a business receives from the community.

Any home within three miles of the Red Boiling Springs city limits is eligible to enter the Lighting Contest held each December. Any business, church or social organization within three miles of the city limits of Red Boiling Springs is eligible for the People’s Choice Decorating Contest.
