Glen Mays, Jr., age 87 of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Saturday evening, March 9, 2013 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville, KY. Memorial Services for Glen Mays, Jr. will be conducted at a later date in Farmland, Indiana.
Glen was born March 23, 1925 in Piqua, Ohio, the son of the late Glen and Clara Weymer Mays. On February 23, 1973, he married the former Thelma Painter, who survives. He received his BA degree from Indiana University. Glen proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a salesman.
Survivors besides his wife, Thelma of 40 years include: step-daughter, Marsha Toombs and husband, Jim, Red Boiling Springs, step-son, Rex Snideman and wife, Nancy, Mt. Home, ID, sister, Betty Hammers and husband, Gene, Farmland, IN, brother, Jim Mays and wife, Gertrude, Richmond, IN.
