Hailey Jones and Taylor Spivey are competing in the FCCLA STAR Event, Advocacy. They are advocating for victims of cyber bullying and hope to stop this issue. They met with the ages 11-18, grades 6th to 12th at Macon County High School and Macon County Junior High on the dates of January 31st, February 1st, and February 5th.
They presented information over cyberbullying and asked the students to fill out surveys on if they have been the victim, the bully, or the bystander in a bullying situation. Hailey and Taylor competed at District competition and received first place and a gold medal. They will move on to the state competition the first week of April.
