Mr. Arnett "Ped" Scruggs, age 85 of Hartsville, TN died Thursday morning, February 25, 2010 at University Medical Center, Lebanon, TN.
Mr. Scruggs was a Championship Winner of many Fiddler Contests in Tennessee and surrounding states.
He was preceded in death by: Wife, Janero Scruggs; and great grandson, Kross Swindle.
He is survived by: son, Mr. Andy (Donna) Scruggs of Lafayette, TN; three daughters - Mrs. Wilma (Will) Phillips of Hartsville, TN; Mrs. Patricia (Tommy) Dixon of Hartsville, TN; Mrs. Debbie (Steve) Ruud of Orlando, Florida; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; Brother, Mr. Risey Scruggs-Hartsville, TN.
Funeral services were held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 2 PM Saturday, February 27, 2010 conducted by Eld. Joe Porter and Eld. Guthrie Thompson.
Grandsons of Mr. Scruggs served as pallbearers. Interment was in the Dixon Springs Cemetery.
