Kenneth Lee Carter, age 64, of Red Boiling Springs, TN, passed away Wednesday morning, June 2, 2010 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Funeral Services for Kenneth Lee Carter were conducted Friday afternoon, June 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Bob Cowan and Tony Russell officiating. Interment followed in the Whitley Cemetery with his family serving as pallbearers.

Kenneth was born Sunday, May 26, 1946 in Macon County, Tennessee, one of two siblings born to the late Carlos Ray and Marie Turner Carter. On December 22, 1964, he married the former Mabeline Kirby, who survives. He was a Supervisor for the former Stitches Inc. in Red Boiling Springs for many years and a member of the Red Boiling Springs Church of Christ.

Survivors besides his wife, Mabeline of 45 years include: sons & daughters-in-law, Kenny & Debbie Carter, Red Boiling Springs, Randy & Della Carter, Lafayette; sister & brother-in-law, Sue & J.D. Birdwell, Lafayette; granddaughters, Brittany Carter and Kendra Ferguson and husband, Billy all of Lafayette; grandson, Devron Carter, Red Boiling Springs; great-grandson, Lucas McDonald, Lafayette.
