Tigers claw their way to first victory

The Macon County Tigers football team picked up their first win of the season over Sycamore 21-13, snapping a 20 game losing streak.

The Tigers scored from a picked up fumble by Garrett Emberton that was returned for a touchdown.

Zack Shockley added two scores.

The Tigers led 14-0 after the first quarter, and maintained a 14-7 going into halftime.

In the third quarter the Tigers increased their lead to 21-7. Sycamore added one more score to make the final 21-13.

Carson Cook was a perfect 3 for 3 on the extra point attempts.

The Tigers will play at home against Smith County for their homecoming game Friday night. Everyone come out and support MCHS.
