Mr. Dennie Lewis Meador, 61, of Bethpage, Tenn., died Sunday morning, Aug. 29, 2010, at his home.

Mr. Meador was born on December 11, 1948, in Macon County, Tenn. He was a member of Pleasant Hill General Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lewie and Jane Meador; brothers Bobby Dale and Ralph Meador; nephews Mark Blankenship and Michael Meador.

Mr. Meador is survived by his wife Kay Duncan Meador of Bethpage, Tenn.; three sons, Tim (Kari) Meador of Lebanon, Tenn, Brad Meador of Westminster, Colo., and Heath (Shelley) Meador of Brighton, Colo.;daughter Kris Vanatte of Bethpage; seven grandchildren, Chase Meador, Dusty Meador, Kelsey Meador, Addie Meador, Seth Mofield, Faith Mofield and Lacy (Forest) Graham; sisters Mary Hollis (Billy) Cook of Morgantown, KY., and Linda Carver, Janice (Jimmy) Walrond and Willa (Jack) Carr, all of Lafayette, Tn., 10 nieces and nephews and a host of Meador cousins in Lafayette, mother-in-law Bonnie Woodard of Bethpage and sister-in-law Judy (Rick) Covington.

Funeral services were held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, with Bro. Ben Matthews, Bro. Billy Cook, and Bro. Michael Nesbitt officiating.
