The boys’ game was much like the girls game. The Smith Co. Owls took an early lead and never let up. The Owls never looked back (scoring 30 points to the Bulldogs 10 in the second quarter). Being able to go to the locker room with a comfortable 34 point lead, the Owls offense slowed considerably the second half with them scoring 19 points to the Bulldogs 12. All 27 of the Bulldogs points were made possible by three point baskets and free throws (with 12 of the points coming from free throw shots). Ironically, as a team, the Bulldogs attempted 17 two point shots and 17 three point shots. They were able to make 5 of the three point shots for 29.4%.
