Earl Davis age 69 of Portland passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012. Funeral Service will be Thursday, May 10th at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Elder Donald Taylor, Elder Floyd Ferguson & Elder Terry Austin officiating. Interment will be in Enon Cemetery in Lafayette.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 9th from 3:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursday, May 10th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Mr. Davis was born August 31, 1942 in Macon County, TN son of the late Ted Earl and Monna Richardson Davis.
He is survived by wife Laura Davis of Portland; sons, Eric Davis (Kris) of Minnesota and Kevin Davis (Christy) of Florida; daughter, Sherry Sarama (Daniel) of Florida; sister, Donna Cherry of Lafayette; aunts, Loretta Potrich of Kentucky and Lula Kesenger of Illinois; grandchildren, Spencer Davis and Addison Davis and several cousins. Mr. Davis served in the U.S. Army, was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church and worked at TRW, Inc.
