Gary Lane Copas, age 62, of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Tuesday morning, January 1, 2013 at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, TN. Graveside Services & Interment for Gary Lane Copas were be conducted Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 12 noon from the Smith Chapel Cemetery in Red Boiling Springs with Brother Tim White officiating. Honorary Pallbearers were Mark Copas, Robert Collins and Charles Adams. Active Pallbearers were Justin Copas, Cale Copas, Larry Copas, Kent Copas, Randy Goolsby and Dale Armor.

Gary was born Wednesday, May 24, 1950 in Macon County, Tennessee, the son of the late Less and Winnie Plumlee Copas. On August 29, 2005, he married Carol Rebecca Copas, who preceded him in death on July 5, 2010. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Alma Goad and brothers, Dan, Kenneth, Don and Paul Copas. He was the owner & operator of Unique Antiques in Red Boiling Springs, TN for 8 years and a member of the Calvary Christian Assembly in Tompkinsville, KY.

Survivors include: daughters, Megan and Hayley Copas both of Celina, son, Garan Copas of Westmoreland, brothers, David Copas and wife, Mary Jo of Lafayette, Tommy Copas and wife, Kathy of Red Boiling Springs.
