D.T. McCall & Sons will hold its grand re-opening from Oct. 11-19.

The Lafayette location of D.T. McCall & Sons will hold a grand re-opening from Oct. 11-19.

The cost of the location's remodeling approached $500,000.

There will be a ribbon-cutting held on Saturday at 9 a.m.

Individuals expected to attend the ribbon-cutting include: Sen. Mark Pody, congressman John Rose, State Rep. Terri Lynn Weaver, Rep. Kelly Keisling, Lafayette Mayor Richard Driver, Macon County Mayor Steve Jones, Macon County Chamber of Commerce Director Shelly Bealor and members of the McCall family, including A.J. McCall, Tom McCall, Frank McCall, Alex McCall, John McCall, J.J. McCall and Cris McCall.

The family-owned business has been in operation for more than 120 years.

During the grand re-opening, there will be more than $6,000 worth of prizes given away, including a Frigidaire appliance package, a Speed Queen laundry pair, a queen-sized Dutch Craft latex mattress set and a Kitchen Aid stand mixer.

There will also be exclusive deals on appliances and a Dutch Craft truckload bedding sale that will only be available at the Lafayette location during the grand re-opening.

The Lafayette location will also serve lunch on Oct. 19, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
