A Pleasant Shade man, Lafayette man and Hartsville woman were arrested in a county drug bust allegedly involving methamphetamine and weaponry.

David Keith Verzier, Donnie Lee Likens and Destiny Danielle Presley all face multiple charges following the incident, which took place on July 26.

According to the arrest report, the Macon County Sheriff's Office obtained a search warrant for a property on Wilmore Hollow Road in Lafayette, marking the second time the location was served a warrant and the second time drugs and weapons were found inside.

Verzier was allegedly found in possession of approximately three grams of methamphetamines in multiple plastic bags, digital scales, glass pipes, a pill grinder, 30 milligrams of Morphine and 60 milligrams of Xanax bars.

Likens and Presley were both allegedly found in possession of approximately three grams of meth in multiple plastic bags, digital scales, glass pipes, a pill grinder and 1.1 ounces of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.

Detective Shane Gregory stated that a loaded .410 shotgun and a loaded bolt-action .22-caliber rifle were found in the same room as the narcotics.

Verzier was charged with manufacturing of narcotics, two counts of possession of Schedule II narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of Schedule IV narcotics.

His bond was set at $100,000, and his court date is slated for Aug. 7.

Likens was charged with manufacturing of narcotics, possession of Schedule II narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Schedule VI narcotics and unlawful carrying or possession of a weapon.

His bond was set at $50,000, and his court date is slated for Aug. 7.

Presley was charged with manufacturing of narcotics, possession of Schedule II narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Her bond was set at $35,000, and her court date is also slated for Aug. 7.
