Macon County High junior Isaac Meador shot 77 last Thursday afternoon in a match with Wilson Central played at Pine Creek Golf Course.

MT. JULIET -- The Macon County High boys golf team dropped a district match with Wilson Central last Thursday afternoon at Pine Creek Golf Course.

The two teams met at Macon County Golf Course one week earlier, with the Wildcats winning by five strokes.

Hartsville's Trey Melvin -- who won the Tennessean/Metro Parks Schooldays Golf Tournament in June -- was the low medalist with a round of 76, and Wilson Central teammate Mason Adcock shot 77.

Macon County junior Isaac Meador also shot 77.

Macon County had just one female golfer, senior McKaylee Mix. Mix shot 83 for the second consecutive week.

Kate Castle and Sarah Castle shot 80 and 87, respectively, for the Wilson Central girls.
