H.A. "Lucky" Luckado was born on Feb. 5, 1932, and entered into eternal rest on July 1 after an extended illness.

He was the owner of DBA Lucky's Machine Shop in Nashville.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Lillie Beavers and Charles Harris Luckado; sister, Cathleen Walters; brother, James Luckado; and great-granddaughter, Angelynn Luckado.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Dorothy Armstrong Luckado; children, Mickey (Libby) Luckado of Weaver, Alabama, Hands Luckado, Jr., of Anniston, Alabama, Chuck (Shelia) Luckado of Portland, Cindy (David) Grimes of Madison, Gail (Danny) Benson of Westmoreland, Mary (Patrick) Strickland of White House, Sharon (David) Spears of Bethpage, Laura (Nick) Meadow of Erin; brothers, Bobby (Mary) Luckado of Nashville, and James Luckado of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; 24 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted by David Spears and Laura Meadow and was held on July 4 in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.

Visitation was held on July 3 and again on July 4.

Interment was held at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville July 8. Grandsons and Great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
