Alex Beasley

William Alexander Beasley III, better known as Alex, was born on Nov. 10, 1963, in Lafayette mto William Alexander Beasley, Jr., and Pamela Price Beasley. He was one of three children born to this union.

Alex was saved by the sweet Lord's grace as a young man. He was a member of Long Fork Missionary Baptist Church.

Alex was a 1982 graduate of Macon County High School. He married his high-school sweetheart, Kim Jent, in January of 1982. Alex and Kim were blessed with four children.

Alex very much enjoyed golf, hunting, and fishing. He loved spending time farming.

Alex was preceded in death by his mother, Pamela Price Beasley, and his stepmother, Jessica Loftis Smith Beasley.

On May 21, 2019, at the age of 55, William Alexander Beasley III was called to his Heavenly home. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Alex is survived by: wife, Kim Jent Beasley; sons, Will Beasley, Ryan Beasley, Matt Beasley; daughter, Courtney Clayton; grandchildren, Chandler Clayton, Braelyn Price; father, William "Bill" Beasley; brothers, Jim Beasley (and wife, Misti), Phillip Beasley (and wife, Stacy), and Corey Smith (and wife, Lesley); sister, Christel Carter; and mother and father-in-law, Jona Turner and husband, Donny. Several nieces, nephews, and extended family also survive.

Funeral services were conducted on May 25 from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, with Derrick Dickens officiating.

Pallbearers were Mike Wells, Jeff Hudson, Bryon Satterfield, Robby Meador, Jeff Owen, Tim Wooten, Cody Jent and John Blakely.

Alexander Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
